Silk Road Uyghur Cuisine

It's a pretty good meat focused restaurant. The meat here is amongst one of the better restaurants in Perth for the type of food. The grilled meats and skewers were marinated and cooked well done generally tender and tasty, with some a bit dry and boring. The thin noodles with special sauce was very spicy with few on our table able to eat it. The dry stir fried prawns with chips dish was ordinary. Service was not very friendly, but efficient enough. If you like this type of grilled meat and skewers restaurant, this is definitely a place to try.

This was my second visit as the food and service are excellent. However, the Manti was disappointing , the lamb mince was fatty, chewy.The flavor and smell were off-putting. It was also served with plain yogurt instead of a proper sauce. Other dishes were tasty and enjoyable as before.

Very interesting food and history of it, the staff so was very friendly and even offered on the house drinks to try. I would 100% recommend visiting this place! Just make sure you have a booking around the weekend because it gets busy!

1st time trying Uyghur cuisine & it was so good! i had the tuhum laghman which was 10/10. the portion sizes are big so come prepared! also recommend making a reservation as we didn’t the first time so missed out but luckily made one the next day!

The food was delicious and especially the accomodation for my sons allergies, the staff were friendly and professional, then environment is phenomenal overall this restaurant is somewhere you should definitely look into.
